A chemical reaction is something that happens when you mix two ingredients together. i found it challenging remembering the ingredients. this term we have been cooking some things up. first we made jelly next hokey pokey then we made dinner creme mints after we made vanilla cake.

for calendar art this week we have learnt to blend colors with paint it was hard because we had to use paint and sketch but I really enjoyed painting but i found it hard to paint the picture it worked out i liked it because it was hard and challenging.

HOKEY POKEY writing!

Once upon a time there was a Kingdom of hokey pokey and a knight
of Butt-burg it was a Kingdom to. They were in peace until the King of
Dumbness came to the different kingdoms. He commanded them to
move but they didn't want to move. So they started a war over the two
kingdoms and all of them died. But they came back alive by a magical
angel…... nah just kidding! They were brought to hell by an evil devil called
death master. Then they met a swag dragon called Swag Bro they were
terrified but they got to go to Fortnight land and they got a golden scar.
Then they went back to the normal world and it was all back to the present.

novels

this term we have been reading some really cool, really interesting novels these were the names of the novels: moving on,run away alien and the mistery at number seven.

the mistery at number seven was my favorite it was about a gang called the ABC gang. There is a new neighbor and they think that she's a mermaid and they were invited to come to her house to meat her but they are rong.

my second favorite was run away alien not because of the alien but because he likes water i'm the same. Cause when my mum takes me to kiakora i instantly jump in the pool when she says i can.

moving on was my less favorite because it talks about parents braking up and i don't like story's like that.

weather

at school we learned Maori weather words. first we had to learn a sentence and this is how it went
Kei te pehea te ahua o te rangi?. That was the start of each slide it meant what is the weather like. Then we had to translate seven weather words in Maori. we created a slide and we put all the words together in a big sentence.
